Kösem Sultan


Kosem was of Greek origin,the daughter of a priest who was brought as a slave to Sultan Ahmed 1. She then became his favorite consort and afterwards the Sultan legally married her. This drama is based on the life of this woman who covered the journey from being a slave to a queen. She became the Valide Sultan when her son became the Sultan.


She lived through the the reigns of six Sultans and holds an important place in the Ottoman history. This drama is a sequel to the drama Muhteşem Yüzyıl, 2011 and is one of the best productions. This drama has a wonderful cast and very good script and mesmerizing characters.



This is a drama started on 12 November 2015. It has two seasons. This drama is starring many talented Actors like Beren Saat,Nurgül Yeşilçay, Ekin Koç, Anastasia Tsilimpiou, Farah Zeynep Abdullah and many more.
